About this vintage design furniture

The Wire collection was designed in 1953 by Cees Braakman and Adriaan Dekker and has since grown into a design classic, still available to the market today. The steel wire and the minimalist appearance are characteristic of the Braakman Wire chairs. The shape and seats are adapted to the modern standard for comfortable seating. In the 50s this design was kind of a revolution. See through chairs with hard metal framing but when seated on very comfortable. That is why the chair has become an icon in furniture design. This original 1960s set of 4 chairs still fits any interior of today. Good condition consistent with age and use.
