Svend Aage LARSEN

Over the course of his career, Larsen has designed a wide range of products, including furniture, lighting and objets d'art. He has worked with several prestigious Danish companies, such as Klim Møbelfabrik and Søborg Møbelfabrik, as well as international brands such as IKEA and Le Klint.

Larsen is best known for his elegant, minimalist teak furniture, which has been widely praised for its simplicity and functionality. He also designed innovative lighting fixtures, including the famous "Propeller" lamp, which won the Danish Lamp Award in 1955.

Larsen's work has been exhibited in museums and galleries around the world, including New York's Museum of Modern Art and Copenhagen's Museum of Art and Design. He has won several prestigious awards during his career, including the Danish Design Award in 1971 and the Prix de la Lumière in 1996. Today, his creations are considered classics of Danish design and are highly prized by collectors and design enthusiasts the world over.
