About this vintage design furniture

Stunning, beautiful, elegant and stylish. This mid-century modern African beauty has it all. She was made after the African neck stretching tribe, known as the "long neck tribe". It comes from the Ndebele tribe group. Women wore brass and copper rings, iindzila, around their necks after they were married at about age 12. Once the young women were married, these neck rings were placed individually to give them intense spiritual strength and to show the wealth of the tribe. It also became one of the ways to show the bonds between married couples and the rings could only be removed upon the death of her husband.A remarkable, large and impressive sculpture made of brass and copper that I had never seen in my life. I have not yet been able to learn where it was made, but I think Italy or FranceThis African queen will be shipped insured overseas in a custom made wooden crate. The cost of shipping is included in the crate.
