About this vintage design furniture
Suspension lamp designed by Achille and Piergiacomo Castiglioni for Kartell in 1959. Methacrylate (Vedril Montecatini) with junction elements in satin and burnished nickel-plated brass. Among the first lamps produced by the Kartell lighting division. Bibliography: Sergio Polano, "Achille Castiglioni, complete works 1938-2000", Electa, 2001, p. 153. In very good condition, there is a scratch on the top of the lamp shade, highlighted in the photo, but invisible from below when the lamp is mounted to the ceiling.
