About this vintage design furniture
Rare Murano lamp Fungo designed by Massimo Vignelli for Venini & Co on the island of Murano, Italy in 1956. This mushroom lamp was made in three sizes, this is the medium size. It is still in original and excellent condition; no chips of the glass are missing. Material: thick amber, yellow glass on the outside and white glass on the inside. Light Source: suitable for a CFL or LED bulb, also nice with a reflector lamp. Dimensions: h x d 25 x 21 cm. Source: Book Charlotte & Peter Fiell, 1000 lights, 1979 to 1959, Taschen, page 513.
