About this vintage design furniture
G plan Teak Desk or Console An elegant console table or desk made by G plan, circa 1960. From the Tola series, and Tola is commonly known as polished teak and black, which is an ebony coloured African wood. The unit has polished brass, or gilded fittings are known as Ormolu, and the underside of the piece shows the E Gomme stamp which signifies this as an early G plan design from the stylish and sought after Librenza range. A scarcely found piece offered in excellent condition with minimal usage marks consistent with age. Dimensions: 51 cm depth x 118 cm width x 73 cm height Condition: Excellent condition with minimal usage marks consistent with age.
