About this vintage design furniture

Asymmetrical, massive vase designed by Vicke Lindstrand and produced for Kosta in Sweden, at end of 1950s. It is flashed in maroon running and clear. Structure in glass (sunken glasses process). It is signed " Kosta LH 1447 " and is in good condition with no serious signs of wear.

Vicke Lindstrand was a Swedish designer and artist born on June 17, 1904 in Malmö, Sweden, and died on October 7, 1983 in Kosta, Sweden. He is best known for his work as a glass designer for the Swedish company Orrefors.
