About this vintage design furniture
Pair of two large glass vases designed by Gunnar Ander and produced by Lindshammar (Sweden) in the 1950s. Gunnar Ander worked at Lindshammar from 1949 to 1976 and was their first designer. Colours: blue and green. Height: 35 cm; width: 15 cm; depth: 15 cm. Original label still intact (on both vases). These vases can be seen in the book "Scandinavian Glass - Fire & Sea" by L. Pina (p. 20-21). Very good vintage condition.

Gunnar Ander was a Swedish designer born in Stockholm on August 17, 1927 and died on June 22, 2002. He is best known for his work in glassware and lighting, but also created furniture and textiles.
