The Danish lighting manufacturer Nordisk Solar was founded in 1919 by Jacob L. Jørgensen and Herluf Sørensen and is well known for its mid-century modern pendants and layered lighting designs. This P 267 lamp was designed by Sven Middelboe for Nordisk Solar in the mid 1950s. It features a white lacquered metal shade with a brass and wood finish. This lamp reflects the ultra-refined aesthetic of mid-century Danish design. The lamp is in its original condition and in good condition.

About the designer
Svend MIDDELBOE
Søren Middelboe is a Danish industrial designer born in 1988. He studied at the Royal School of Architecture, Design and Conservation in Copenhagen, where he graduated in 2014.
