About this vintage design furniture
Very daybed in the manner of Jacques Hitier and Mathieu Mategot, France 1950. It’s is made of black refinished tubular metal and look very nice and sculptural. Made by unknown designer or manufacturer, in the manner of Jacques Hitier, Pierre Guariche or Mathieu Mategot. The bed come without mattress, but we can make one if wanted. The bed had been professionally refinished in the original black colour, which was in poor condition. Very nice and comfortable daybed would look great with a nice coloured fabric mattress on it. As all of our upholstered pieces, this daybed can also be newly upholstered with any fabric you prefer. We use the best quality foam and materials in combination with the upholstery you choose.
