About this vintage design furniture
Leather sofa designed by Danish designer Sven Ellekaer for the Coja furniture factory in Culemborg (Netherlands) in the 1960s. The upholstered leather cushions have new padding and the straps have been renewed. The condition of this exclusive sofa is still good, with normal traces of use and wear (no tears or holes). The leather has aged well and has a beautiful patina. Materials: rosewood, stained wood and leather. Dimensions: h x w x d 75 x 145 x 76 cm, seat height 42 cm. Source: AD, 1969, see photos.

About the designer
Sven ELLEKAER
Sven Ellekaer was a Danish designer who was born in 1910 and died in 1976. He is best known for his work in the 1950s and 1960s, which was marked by simple, uncluttered forms and the use of natural materials such as wood and leather.
