Erik MAGNUSSEN

He studied at the Copenhagen School of Architecture and Design, graduating in 1960. After graduation, he worked briefly for the architectural firm Arne Jacobsen, where he gained valuable design experience.

In 1964, Magnussen founded his own design studio in Copenhagen. He began working on a variety of projects, from furniture and household products to electronics and sporting goods. He quickly made a name for himself with his minimalist approach, intelligent functionality and innovative use of materials.

One of Erik Magnussen's most iconic creations is the Stelton decanter, which he designed in 1977. This carafe has become a classic of Danish design, appreciated for its elegant shape and ingenious functionality. It is exhibited in many museums around the world.

Throughout his career, Magnussen has won numerous awards and distinctions for his creations. His work has been exhibited at international design shows, and he has collaborated with many prestigious brands, including Georg Jensen, Fritz Hansen and Royal Copenhagen.
