About this vintage design furniture
For sale a large stunning and rare white acrylic & chrome Italian Space-Age Postmodern ‘Kuala’ Ceiling Pendant Light designed by Franco Bresciani for iGuzzini Spa in 1976. The light is stunning and gives off the most wonderful light. In superb vintage condition with the only issue of note being a small area of heat damage to the edge of the light diffuser (see photo), otherwise the chrome is clean and bright, the light in good working order, the acrylic shade bright and undamaged. The light is sold with its original domed ceiling rose. Overall max. drop from ceiling including light is 135cm.

About the designer
Franco BRESCIANI
Franco Bresciani is an Italian industrial designer born in Milan in 1948. He studied at Milan Polytechnic, graduating in architecture in 1973. After working for Italian design companies such as Brionvega and Zanotta, he founded his own design studio in 1981. Since then, he has worked with many international brands, including Artemide, Flos, Yamaha, Sharp, Sanyo and Hitachi.
