Bohemian, heavy, art glass vase designed by Josef Hospodka for Chribska glassworks. It was made in Czechoslovakia in the 1960’s and the design is sometimes called ’Cat’s head’. The item is approximately 20 cm (7,87 inch) high (at the highest point) and 19 cm (7,48 inch) wide (across at the widest part). Weight is aproximately 1,55 kg.

About the designer
Josef HOSPODKA
Josef Michal Hospodka was a Czech designer who was born in 1923 and died in 1989. He studied at the School of Applied Arts in Prague, where he began working as a teacher after graduating.
