About this vintage design furniture
Group of vases, bowl and tray from the serie “Rubus” designed by Gunnar Nylund. Manufactured at Rörstrand in Sweden during the 1950s. Stoneware ceramics with mottled matte glaze and nubby surface. All in very good vintage condition. Price for the set.

About the designer
Gunnar NYLUND
Gunnar Nylund (1904-1997) was a Swedish designer known for his contributions to the Scandinavian ceramics industry. Born in Paris, Nylund spent his childhood in France and studied sculpture at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris. In 1925, he returned to Sweden and began working in the ceramics industry in Upsala-Ekeby.
