About this vintage design furniture
Alberto Rosselli corner sofa, Saporiti Italia, 1972. The "Confidential" is one of the first modular sofas ever produced for private homes. Polyurethane injected foam and steel frame with twin stitched leather upholstery on a fiberglass reinforced base. If you push the sofas together it makes a huge sectional sofa which fits 10 people easily. Alberto Rosselli was most well-known for his partnership in the architectural practice Studio Ponti-Fornaroli-Rosselli (P.F.R.) 1952-1976, alongside the Italian designer Gio Ponti. About the designer
Alberto ROSSELLI
Alberto Rosselli was an Italian designer, born in Milan in 1921 and died in Bergamo in 1976. He studied architecture at Milan Polytechnic, graduating in 1944.
