About this vintage design furniture
Born in Bahia, José Zanine Caldas (1918- 2001) started his career as an architect and scale modeler for Oscar Niemeyer and Lucio Costa, among others. It is a comfortable chair and has been recently reupholstered in luxurious green mohair velvet, and its frame is in original condition, providing with an opportunity for the new owner to enjoy it as is or restore to preferred specification. A matching armchair is pending restoration. Please enquire about an opp0rtunity to purchase a pair.
