About this vintage design furniture
This set of 2 Robert Haussmann armchairs in an extremely attractive olive-green leather is in very good condition. The leather is undamaged and has a nice patina on the armrests. The solid chrome frames are flawless on both armchairs. The armchairs are branded. Robert Haussmann designed these armchairs for De Sede in the late 1950s. The Swiss manufacturer De Sede is one of the oldest manufacturers of high-quality armchairs in top design and known for excellent craftsmanship in the highest material quality. Price for the pair

About the designer
Robert HAUSSMANN
Robert Haussmann is a Swiss designer born in Basel in 1931. He studied architecture at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETHZ) before turning to design. In 1959, he founded the Gruppe 3 interior design and architecture studio in Zurich, together with architects Fritz Haller and Rudolf Schlatter.
