About this vintage design furniture
Sofa named "Bird" because of its sculptural shape designed by Michiel Van Der Kley for the Artifort manufacture, manufactured in the 1990s. The sofa has a monolithic shape; it looks as if the backrest drains out of the seat. The more you walk around the sofa, the more faces you see. The bird fits perfectly into the tradition of the Artifort collection. Model number - C 725. Original blue Kvadrat for Maharam fabric and aluminium frame with elegant legs.

Michel VAN DER KLEY
Van Der Kley is the pseudonym of a famous contemporary designer. Born on April 15, 1978 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, he developed an early passion for design and art. From an early age, he loved manipulating shapes, colors and textures, and was often captivated by the aesthetic creations around him.
