Vintage telescopic desk lamp Lampette, Germany 1970

The telescopic lamp was designed in the early 1970s, known for its original design and its characteristic name of Lampette. A small lamp with a compact structure has a minimalist shape. The lamp is about the same height as the arm. The object has a minimalist and simple shape that refers to the aesthetics of German design, derived from the Bauhaus, whose philosophy was to design objects based on functionality. The housing and the cylinder-shaped diffuser are made of plastic. The plastic elements are connected by a thin telescopic arm made of chromed metal. The arm allows the height and angle of the lamp to be changed, as well as the upper part of the lamp to be rotated through 360 degrees, making the Lampette highly functional. The lamp is in very good original condition, fully functional. The disadvantage is a slight damage to the cover, which is visible in the pictures.
