About this vintage design furniture
Designed by Gerard van den Berg, one of the most important Dutch designers of the 70’s and 80’s. This comfortable swivel chair is rare example of his wicker serie. This example is originaly painted grey. Under the wicker cover is the metal foot. Natural leather cusion is in good vintage condition, without demages but with nice patina. Real Dutch Classiker

Gerard VAN DER BERG
Gerrit (Gerard) Van Der Berg (1947-2011) was a Dutch designer known for his modern, functional furniture creations. He studied at the Rotterdam Academy of Fine Arts and began his career as an industrial designer at Gispen, a Dutch furniture company.
