About this vintage design furniture
Iconic "Barcelona" armchair in natural aniline leather by Mies Van der Rohe, designed in Germany for the 1929 Barcelona International Exhibition in Catalonia (Spain). This armchair is a first edition produced by Knoll International in Germany at the end of the 50s and 60s. The structure is made of chromed steel and the leather straps are fixed with screws instead of rivets. The cushions are covered with the original leather, which shows signs of wear and tear, but with a beautiful patina that comes with age. The armchair is in good general use condition, as shown in the pictures.
