About this vintage design furniture
A set of two iconic "Barcelona" armchairs in natural aniline leather by Mies Van der Rohe, designed in Germany for the 1929 Barcelona International Exhibition in Catalonia (Spain). These chairs are a first edition produced by Knoll International in Germany in the late 50s and 60s. The frames of the chairs are made of chromed steel and the leather straps are fixed with screws instead of rivets. The cushions are covered with the original leather, which shows important traces of use, but with a beautiful patina that comes with age. The armchairs are generally in good condition, as shown in the pictures.
