About this vintage design furniture
A set consisting of the famous "Barcelona" chair and a natural aniline leather stool by Mies Van der Rohe, designed in Germany for the 1929 Barcelona International Exhibition in Catalonia (Spain). This chair is an early edition produced by Knoll International in Germany in the late 50s and 60s. The structure of the chair and stool is made of chromed steel, with leather straps attached to it with screws instead of rivets. The cushions are covered with the original leather, which shows important traces of use, but with a beautiful patina that comes with age. The armchairs are generally in good condition, as shown in the pictures. The measurements of the stool are H 37 x W 58 x D 62 cm.
