About this vintage design furniture
A leather chaise longue from MR series which were first designed by Mies van der Rohe in collaboration with Lilly Reich in 1927 in Krefeld, Germany. In 1964 Mies van der Rohe granted the exclusive rights to produce MR Series to Knoll International. This chrome Mr chaise lounge in dark brown leather is from a rare early edition and was produced by Knoll in 1960, Italy. It was previously owned by a former director of Knoll International. The chaise lounge consists of two parts; chrome plated bent-steel base and an upholstered seat. The height of this lounge chair can be adjusted in three different positions by attaching the whole seat to the base using one of three hooks. Both the leather seat and metal frame are in very good original condition showing some traces of use as presented in pictures.
