About this vintage design furniture

The armchair type GFM-64 is currently the most famous Polish armchair, a true symbol of the 60s. It was designed in 1965 by the famous designer Edmund Goma and manufactured by the Gościcinska Fabryka Mebli. It has never been mass-produced, hence it is very rare both in salons and for sale. The armchair has undergone a thorough renovation. The wood was carefully sanded and again covered with an ecological teak stain with a satin finish. The seat was disassembled to the frame itself and then the structure was reinforced and the cavities were filled. New upholstery strips were added and a new sponge with a high resistance to beating was applied. Finally, the seat was covered with beige fabric. The whole process has restored the chair to its original state from over sixty years ago. You can make your own changes to the wood finish and the type of fabric. Just send a private message.
