About this vintage design furniture
The AJ Royal lamp was designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1960 for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen (Radisson Blu). AJ Royal has a clean, geometric shape and excellent lighting properties. The semi-spherical housing of the luminaire provides excellent, soft light. The lamp was part of the hotel’s overall design concept. Several hotel products have achieved the status of design icons today, and in the field of lighting, AJ Royal lamps in particular have become world famous and are in production until today. The lamps are in very good, almost perfect condition. Dimensions: diameter: 50cm height: 22.5 cm The lamps have been thoroughly cleaned, have original, approx. 2-meter long braided cables. Possibility to replace cables to any length and color. Additionally, headliners are attached to the lamps. Please note that the things we sell are used, often 40-50 years old, and therefore have traces of use that cannot always be captured in the photos.
