About this vintage design furniture
A pair of brass and glass pendant lights. Each light consists of eight thick glass prisms attached to a brass frame. Very soft and decorative shine. Can work just as well over a dining room table as purely decorative lighting in a window or corner. Good condition with some natural stains on the brass. Glass in perfect condition with no marks or chips. Wiktor Berndt joined Flygsfors glassworks in 1955 to design light fixtures and art glass, and he would become Flygsfors second most well known designer. Before he came to Flygsfors, he studied at Källströms and then in Murano, Italy. In 1956, when Paul Kedelv left the company, Wiktor became the chief designer, and he continued as the chief designer until he left in 1974. Standard E 27 light bulb sockets. Rewired for safety.
