About this vintage design furniture

Iconic rocking chair design by Hans J. Wegner (1944) in beech wood and grey paperboard. A fine example of Danish midcentury design. Produced by Fredericia during the 70s. The earlier versions of the J16 were produced by F.D.B. Mobler while Fredericia took over the production license during the 70s and still produces this chair to date. This specific J16 features a beech frame with grey paperboard. Part of the original sticker on the frame is still available. Purchased by the original owner in a design store in the Netherlands and inherited by their daughter afterwards. The chair is in a very good general condition with only limited wear. The paper cord seating has been redonerestored.
