About this vintage design furniture

Designed by Preben Fabricius and Jørgen Kastholm in the 60s; the FK Tulip series. Although the duo had many iconic designs on their name, perhaps one of their more well known is the FK Tulip Series. Initially produced during the 60s until the 80s by Alfred Kill International in Germany, it was Walter Knoll who took over the license for the Tulip series once Alfred Kill went out of business. Until this day, Walter Knoll still produces the Tulip series according to the highest standards of quality in Germany. These specific Tulips concern the FK 6727, with the more esthetic lower back. They are extremely well build and these specific chairs feature the original Cashmere 1430 warm gray leather with polished aluminium tripod swivel foot. All original markings present. Some small patina visible on leather and foot but overall in very good condition. Leather padding on the outside of the chair, weak point of these chairs often strongly scratched, is still in very nice condition.
