Set of 4 vintage chairs by Rainer Daumiller for Hirtshals Savvaerk 1980

This set of 4 polished pine chairs by Rainer Saumiller is an excellent example of a brutalist style of furniture. Produced by Hirtshals Savvaerk Mobler Denmark (Hirtshals sawmill). The set is manufactured according to Scandinavian quality and design criteria. The pine is manufactured to be as ergonomic as possible, adapting perfectly to the human body. Thanks to the ergonomic design and the quality of the pine, the chairs are very comfortable. The chairs have a simple but distinctive shape. The chairs have been built very solidly from solid pine wood. In the specific case, they are typical daumiller-style chairs with round legs and rounded seat and backrest. The pine wood still has all its original patterns and carvings, giving the chairs a beautiful effect. The pine has been treated by polishing. The chairs do not bear any marks but can be easily found in the archives. As this is polished pine wood, it is a production from the late 1980s. The chairs are in excellent general condition, only very small traces of use are visible.
