Alfred Cox Mid Century Desk Alfred Cox walnut desk on raised tapered legs, this item was made by a highly collectable cabinet maker. Alfred Cox was a great designer of post-war British furniture. He worked mainly with walnut and teak, designing and producing quality items of superb craftsmanship that are much sought after today. Featuring 6 drawers and a generous top work space. Dimensions: 72 cm height x 47 cm depth x 170 cm width. Condition: In good condition, but showing some signs of use as expected from a vintage item. Superb wood grain.

Alfred Cox was an English furniture designer who worked in the 1950s and 1960s. Born in 1912, Cox began his career as a cabinetmaker's apprentice with his father before moving into furniture design in the 1930s.
