Art Deco Walnut Desk An Art Deco wright desk that dates to the 1930s. Made from walnut and very compact. A raised gallery back, two drawers and writing surface above two frieze drawers, raised on shaped sides united by a stretcher Art Deco is a style of visual arts, architecture and design that first appeared in France just before World War I, and influenced the design of buildings, furniture, jewellery and ocean liners among other things. In its heyday (the 1930s), Art Deco represented luxury and glamour. Dimensions: 51 cm depth x 80 cm width x 76 cm height (76 cm height to top writing surface and 92 total height of the desk). Condition: Excellent condition with superb rich wood grain.
