About this vintage design furniture

Pair of Ingo Maurer sconces produced in the 70s. Bamboo and rice paper. Metal support to fix a socket. All these lamps were produced by hand. Uchiwa means fan in Japanese. This is the smaller model with its height of 62 cm. Note, the paper has been glued on about ten centimeters on the edge of one of the sconces, it is a little damaged on the back side on the other, see detail photos. Shell casings are not present.
