About this vintage design furniture
A hand carved burl wood side table in the form of a palm tree. The palm tree rises on top of a pentagonal plinth with the higher leaves to support the glass top and the lower and smaller leaves to surround the table. Beautiful and masterfully handcrafted. Imported into the UK in the 1980s. International postage without the glass top. CREATOR: Unknown PLACE OF ORIGIN: USA DATE OF MANUFACTURE: c. 1970’s PERIOD: 1970-1979 MATERIALS & TECHNIQUES: Wood, Glass CONDITION: Very good original condition WEAR: Wear consistent with age and use. One silicon support is missing without affecting the glass top. HEIGHT: 53.5cm 21in GlASS DIAMETER: 76cm 30in
