About this vintage design furniture
Iconic BKF butterfly chair designed by Jorge Ferrari-Hardoy, Juan Kurchan and Antonio Bonet in 1938. The first version was made at Artek-Pascoe in 1941. Knoll International took over production from 1947 to 1951. After they lost the rights and also other manufacturers started making this design classic, Knoll stopped production in 1951. This butterfly chair is from the 1970s and is made of a black metal frame with brown suede seat. The condition is still very good with normal traces of use and wear. The suede has a beautiful patina, no tears. Dimensions: d x w x h 92 x 87 x 93 cm and the seat height is 30 cm.
