About this vintage design furniture
Beautiful original piece from the 70's made in Denmark by the label Gangsø Møbler A S. The most striking feature of its design is the ceramic panels embedded in the board, a practice pioneered by the French ceramist Roger Capron in the middle of the century. This table has a rectangular shaped top, made of beautiful teak wood, from which two leaves are hung on its short sides (by means of a simple double anchor, which allows us to remove them if we deem it appropriate). These sheets can be extended individually by means of a practical system of extensible crossbars, located under the table top, which allow us to reach a length of 140 cm if we fold one of them down, and 180 cm if we fold both of them up (which is ideal for 6 guests). Finally, the table rests on two sturdy legs in the shape of an inverted "T", which frees up legroom for the guests. Excellent aesthetic and structural condition.
