About this vintage design furniture
These chairs were produced in the 1960s in a well-known Bentwood Furniture Factory in Radomsko, Poland – FAMEG. Model A-5910 „Tellus” was most probably designed by Marian Grabiński. From the very beginning „Tellus” was supposed to be an export product to foreign markets. The chair produced in the factory no. 2 of FAMEG in Radomsko was exported mainly to Sweden. The design is very much in style of Ilmari Tapiovaara, a Finnish designer one of the greatest interior architects and designers of his era. They are made of beech wood and veneered plywood. The chairs have been gently refreshed and are ready for everyday use. Timeless and classic design makes this set a versatile piece of furniture that will go along with many styles and various interiors.
