About this vintage design furniture

Very rare pair of black lacquered chairs designed by Jean-Claude Mahey and published by Romeo Paris in the mid-70s. The black lacquered wooden structure of Asian inspiration is typical of Mahey's production and French chic of the 70s. The seats and backrests have been upholstered with a superb Jacquard fabric mixing black, beige and gold by the Italian publisher DEDAR - reference Chérie. Chairs of a very nice presence, which will marry vintage as well as contemporary. They are of a beautiful quality of manufacture, robust, and very decorative. Some traces of use on the lacquer.
