Lamp in 23 carat gold plated and brass by Georges Mathias for M2000 Design dating from the 1970s. Handmade, limited edition. Lamp numbered 80 (in all 125 edition of the lamp). Lamp stamped "Designo Maho" (Maho was the pseudonym of Georges Mathias). Good condition.

About the designer
MATHIAS
Georges Mathias is a French designer born in 1946. He graduated from the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Paris in 1971. He has worked for many companies, including Philips, Toshiba, Sony, Renault, Hermès and Louis Vuitton.
