Ferdinand Alexander PORSCHE

He is best known for designing the Porsche 911, one of the most iconic cars in automotive history, as well as the Porsche 904 and Porsche 917.

The son of Porsche's chief designer, Ferry Porsche, Ferdinand Alexander Porsche studied design at the College of Art and Design in Ulm, Germany. He joined the family business in 1958 and worked on several projects, including the Porsche 356B.

In 1962, Ferdinand Alexander Porsche created the design for the Porsche 911, which became one of the most popular and influential models in automotive history. He also worked on other projects for Porsche, including the Porsche 904 and Porsche 917, both of which enjoyed great success on the racetrack.

After leaving Porsche in 1972, Ferdinand Alexander Porsche founded his own design studio, which worked on a variety of projects, from watches to boats. He remained active in the automotive industry until his death in 2012 at the age of 76.
