About this vintage design furniture
Special chest of drawers with secretary designed by the Danish duo Peter Hvidt & Orla Mølgaard Nielsen and manufactured by Søborg Møbelfabrik, 1950s. Teak chest of drawers dresser with a secretaire with pull-out rotating mirror hidden behind the top drawer. Beautiful elegant rare case from first owner and with brand sticker. Very good vintage condition. A very small damage on the back edge, but this is not visible on the front and side. The original mirror has some matte spots due to age.

About the designer
Peter HVIDT & Orla MOLGAARD NIELSEN
Hvidt & Mølgaard Nielsen is a mid-20th-century Danish design duo consisting of Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard Nielsen. Peter Hvidt was born in Copenhagen in 1916 and studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts before working as a designer for various companies. Orla Mølgaard Nielsen was born in Copenhagen in 1907 and also studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, before working as an architect and designer.
