About this vintage design furniture
Midcentury flush-mount lamp that was designed by the legendary Carl Fagerlund for Orrefors in Sweden, circa 1960. It features a stunning pressed glass dome with a nicely scalloped top and a wealth of organic texture through with a polished circular brass finial in the center. With its clean modernist lines and refined palate, this piece would be a winning addition to any style of interior from Classic Mid-Century Modern to contemporary. It is in excellent condition. The lamp has six standard E14 sockets, which gives plenty of light. SKU 2104

About the designer
Carl FAGERLUND
Carl Fagerlund (1915-2011) was a Swedish designer who worked mainly for the famous lighting design and manufacturing company, Orrefors Glassworks, in Sweden. He is best known for his glass lamp designs, which were very popular in the 1950s and 1960s.
