Delicate design from Gio Ponti, the "Superleggera" chair. This chair was sold in the famous Dutch warehouse ’’De Bijenkorf’’. Gio Ponti totally redesigned the Bijenkorf in Eindhoven in 1969.

Gio PONTI
1891 - 1979Gio Ponti (1891-1979) was an Italian designer, architect, writer and teacher, considered one of the most influential designers of 20th-century Italy. Born in Milan, he studied architecture at Milan Polytechnic University and began working as an architect in 1921.
