About this vintage design furniture
Giotto Stoppino was an Italian architect and designer. From 1953 till 1968 he worked with respected Italian Studios while opening his own studio active in the fields of architecture, interior, art and design. As a member of ADI, Association of Industrial Design since 1960, Stoppino also holds the position of President from 1982 to 1984. He participated in the exhibition Italy: the New Interior Landscape in New York with designs for Arteluce and Kartell. Stoppino received the Compasso d oro in 1979 with the Sheraton furniture designed for Acerbis, including this Model designed in 1977. The sideboard is made in walnut and has a nice graphical pattern on the front. The doors slide open to the side. The interior is made in black Lacquered wood with chrome details, four drawers and glass shelves. The sideboard stands in a very good condition.
