About this vintage design furniture

Poul Cadovius Wall Unit This adjustable wall unit is one of the renowned Danish designer Poul Cadovius’s best efforts. With its boomerang-shaped shelf supports, the shelving and bureau are perfect for storing files, objects, books and the fall front bureau is robust enough to use as a writing desk. Poul Cadovius (1911-2011) was one of the most successful designers in the history of the Danish furniture industry. He originally qualified as an upholster but showed an interest in design at an early age. He set up his own furnituremanufacturing firm Royal System in 1945. Three years later, he designed his iconic shelving system, created to leave more space in rooms. The unit is in excellent condition with only minor wear and tear. The shelves are adjustable, and can be tweaked to fit whatever you want to put on there. Danish, circa 1960s. The chair is not included. We always have teak chairs in stock, if you would like a matching chair. Key included. Dimensions (cm): 48 D x 146 H x 84 W Condition: Very good. Light wear may be commensurate with age and use.
