Superb Scandinavian sideboard made of 2 large curtain doors that open onto a shelf adjustable on the left, 2 adjustable shelves on the right and 4 inner drawers (plus a cutlery drawer) in the center. Very beautiful manufacture, great sobriety and purity of design. Designer: Bernhard Pedersen Publisher: Bernhard Pedersen & Son Origin : Denmark Period: 1960 Condition: Very good condition. About the designer
Aage PEDERSEN
Aage Pedersen was a Danish designer born in 1906 and died in 1983. He studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts before beginning his career as an industrial designer in the 1930s. He worked for several Danish companies, including the Danish furniture company Fritz Hansen, where he designed many popular pieces of furniture in the 1950s and 1960s.
