Vintage Oil Painting Landscape Black Frame 1950s

A vintage oil painting on canvass depicting some thatched cottages and a dramatic skyline. The frame is solid wood and has been painted black. It does have a signature on the bottom left but it is illegible. Canvas has been stretched at some stage to fit the frame and there is a very slight gap at the top and bottom. It states, Made in England, London on the rear and there is a cord for hanging on the wall. 1950’s ca.
