About this vintage design furniture
The AJ royal lamp was designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1960 for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen (Radisson Blu) and was part of the overall design concept of the hotel. Several hotel products have become design icons today, and in the field of lighting, AJ lamps, in particular, have become known all over the world. AJ Royal has a clean, geometric shape and excellent lighting properties. The semi-spherical housing of the luminaire provides excellent soft light. The lamp is in very good condition, almost perfect. We have 2 identical items in stock. The lamp is still in production today. dimensions: diameter: 50cm height: 22.5 cm The lamp has been thoroughly cleaned, it has an original approx. 2-meter long braided cable. Possibility to replace the cable to any length. Additionally, a roof lining is attached to it. Please note that the items we sell are used items, often 40-50 years old, and therefore have traces of use that cannot always be captured in the photos.
