About this vintage design furniture
The Royal AJ lamp was designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1960 for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen (Radisson Blu) and was part of the overall concept of the hotel. Several of the hotel's products have now become design icons, and in the lighting field, AJ lamps in particular are known worldwide. AJ Royal has a clean geometric shape and excellent lighting properties. The semi-spherical luminaire housing provides excellent soft light. The lamp is in very good condition, except for a small defect visible on the pictures. The lamp is still in production today. dimensions : diameter: 37cm height: 18cm The lamp has been thoroughly cleaned, it has an original braided cable about 2 meters long. The cable can be replaced at any length. In addition, a roof covering is attached to it. Please note that the items we sell are second-hand objects, often 40 to 50 years old, and therefore show traces of use that cannot always be captured in the photos.
